Ocean County College values diversity and inclusion within its campus community and seeks to provide an affirming environment for all its students. The Office of Disability Services provides the opportunity for you to disclose your disability status, as well as to request any needed accommodations or services.

Steps to Register With Disability Services

1. If you are a New or Prospective Student, complete the Initial Accommodation Request – Student Intake Form. You’ll need to have the following information ready:
   • 365球赛平台 student ID number
   • 365球赛平台 issued email address
   • Supporting documentation for upload
2. After we review your information, we will contact you to schedule a meeting and follow up with you about any requested accommodations or services.
   • We reserve the right to request additional supporting documentation.
   • If you do not hear from our office within five (5) business days, contact us at accommodations@dbayscpa.com or call 732-255-0456.
3. If approved for accommodations, an accommodation letter will be created and we will inform you of the next steps in using your accommodations.

How Long Does This Process Take?

After you submit your accommodation request, it can take up to three weeks for us to complete the process with you. It is important that you monitor your 365球赛平台 email for regular messages from our office. We will also reach out to you by phone, so it is important that you have your voice mail setup and/or check on a regular basis!

It is helpful for us to hear from you early. Certain accommodations can take a few weeks to put into place (such as sign language interpreting or document conversion) and others rely on making advance arrangements with your course staff (such as exam accommodations).

The sooner we can start working with you on your accommodation request, the more likely it will be in place by the time you need it.
